Getting products into Google Shopping takes two things: a feed that sends your products to Google Merchant Center, and product data that passes Google's rules. Apps tend to focus on one or the other. This guide covers what to look for, Shopify's Google & YouTube app, and three other apps to consider. We make FeedFix, which is one of the apps below.
What to look for
Work out whether your problem is getting products to Google or getting them approved, then check these points.
- Feed or data: Whether the app creates and submits the feed, or improves the product data the feed is built from.
- Channels: Google alone, or also Meta, Microsoft, Pinterest and others.
- Rules and overrides: Whether you can change titles, categories and attributes for the feed without changing your store.
- Markets: Support for more than one country, currency or language.
- Pricing model: Free, tiered by product count, or tiered by channels and shops.
Apps to consider
Prices are as shown on each Shopify App Store listing as of October 2026. Confirm current pricing on each listing before you install.
| App | What it does and who it suits |
|---|---|
| Google & YouTube | Google's own app. Syncs products to Google Merchant Center from Shopify. Suits most stores as the starting point. |
| FeedFix | Audits product data against Google and Meta rules and drafts rewrites. Suits stores with disapprovals or weak titles. |
| Simprosys Google Shopping Feed | Creates and submits feeds for Google, Microsoft, Meta and more. Suits stores that need feed rules or multi-country feeds. |
| DataFeedWatch | Feed management across many shopping channels. Suits larger catalogs, multi-channel sellers and agencies. |
Google & YouTube is free to install, and the listing says additional charges may apply, such as ad spend billed to your Google Ads account. It syncs products, deals and shipping information to Google Merchant Center, and Shopify's help center says you can update your Google product listings from the Shopify admin. Limitation: Shopify says the channel is available for certain countries and currencies, so check the requirements for your store.
FeedFix checks every product against Google Merchant Center and Meta Catalog rules, scores each one 0 to 100 per channel, and drafts compliant title and description rewrites you review as before and after diffs. You can apply fixes in bulk, and every change is audit-logged. Plans are Starter at $29, Growth at $79 and Pro at $199 per month, each with a 14-day free trial. Limitation: it audits and rewrites product data, and it does not create or host the feed, so you still need a feed app such as Google & YouTube to send products to Google.
Simprosys Google Shopping Feed lists feed submission for Google Shopping, Microsoft and Meta, automated feed rules, bulk editing and multi-country, multi-currency feeds. Pricing is tiered by product count, from $4.99 per month for up to 500 products to $17.99 for 5,001 to 10,000, each with a 21-day free trial. Limitation: the listing shows no free plan, and AI feed optimization and extra Markets feeds are listed as added charges.
DataFeedWatch lists feeds formatted for Google Shopping, Facebook, TikTok and other channels, AI optimization of titles and categories, and custom labels. The listing shows Shop at $64, Merchant at $84, Agency at $239 and Enterprise at $599 per month, each with a 15-day free trial. Limitation: plans cap SKUs and channels, with extra products charged per 1,000, and there is no free plan.
How to choose
Match the tool to what is stopping your products from showing.
- You are not on Google yet: Start with Google & YouTube. It is free to install and made by Google.
- Products are syncing but getting disapproved or limited: Fix the product data. See how to fix disapproved products, or use FeedFix across the catalog.
- You need feed rules, extra countries or other ad channels: Simprosys.
- You sell on many channels or manage several shops: DataFeedWatch.
- Products are missing and you are not sure why: Read why products are not showing in Google Shopping before you pay for anything.
A data tool and a feed tool can work together: FeedFix cleans up the product data, and a feed app such as Google & YouTube sends it to Google. If your data is already clean, a feed app on its own is enough.
Doing this at scale
FeedFix checks every product against Google Merchant Center and Meta Catalog rules, scores each 0 to 100 per channel, and drafts compliant rewrites you review as before and after diffs and apply in bulk, with every change audit-logged. See FeedFix.
