Your Google Merchant Center account is suspended, and every product has stopped showing. It's an account level problem, not a product one. Here's what causes it and how to fix it.
The whole account is affected
A suspension is about your business and website as a whole, so every product stops showing. For some issues, Google warns you at least seven days ahead. For egregious ones, like dishonest pricing, the account is suspended straight away. You'll see it on the Needs attention page, and by email.
- Scope: The whole account, every product
- Warning: At least 7 days, for some issues
- Egregious: Suspended on detection
- Where: Needs attention page, and email
Common suspension reasons
Common reasons. Misrepresentation, where Google can't trust the business details or the offer. Website needs improvement, for a site that looks incomplete, with broken links or placeholder content. And policy issues you were warned about, but didn't fix in time. Google doesn't grant deadline extensions.
- Misrepresentation: Business details or pricing not trusted
- Website: Incomplete, broken links, placeholders
- Policy: A warned issue left unfixed
Make your details consistent
Start with your business information. Your legal business name, address, phone number, and email should be consistent across your website and Merchant Center. Complete identity verification if Needs attention asks for it, with documents that match your account.
- ✅ Same name and address everywhere
- ✅ Phone and email customers can reach
- ✅ Identity verification complete
Fix the website
Then the website. Link your shipping, refund, and privacy policies, filled in with your real terms. Remove placeholder text and fix broken links. Make sure checkout works and is secure. And show the full price and shipping costs before purchase, matching your product data.
- ✅ Shipping, refund, privacy policies linked
- ✅ No placeholder text or broken links
- ✅ Working, secure checkout
- ✅ Prices and shipping match your feed
Fix it all, then ask once
Fix everything before you ask for a review. Then go to Products, then Needs attention, then View setup and policy issues, and request it there. Google says reviews can take up to seven business days. If issues remain after a second attempt, a one week cool down may start, and it can grow with each failed review.
- Before: Every issue fixed, not some
- Where: Needs attention → setup and policy issues
- Timing: Up to 7 business days
- Cool-down: May start after a 2nd failed review
Stay out of trouble
To keep it from coming back, keep your business details the same everywhere. Update policy pages when your terms change. Remove products and offers you can't fulfill. And act on warning emails before the deadline, not after.
- ✅ Consistent business details
- ✅ Policy pages kept current
- ✅ Only offers you can fulfill
- ✅ Act on warnings before the deadline
